General Questions
What is PokéPrice Tracker?
PokéPrice Tracker is a comprehensive platform for tracking Pokémon card prices, analyzing PSA grading potential, and accessing up-to-date market data to make informed collecting and trading decisions.
Is PokéPrice Tracker free to use?
Yes, there is a free tier with 100 credits per day. Paid plans are API ($9.99/mo), Business ($99/mo) and Enterprise ($300/mo), which raise your daily credits and rate limits and add deeper price history, population data and bulk export. Commercial use requires Business or above.
How often is pricing data updated?
Pricing data is updated daily. Graded-card prices are refreshed from recent sales on the same daily cycle.
Can I track my personal collection?
Yes. You can create and manage a personal collection and track its total value over time.
Pricing & Valuation
How do you determine card prices?
We aggregate sales data from multiple sources including eBay, TCGPlayer, and CardMarket. Our algorithm filters outliers and calculates reliable market prices based on actual sales, not just listings.
Why might your prices differ from other sites?
Our prices reflect completed sales rather than asking prices, and we account for card condition. Where sales are sparse we interpolate between known points to keep charts continuous, so thinly traded cards are inherently less precise.
Can I see historical price trends?
Yes. How far back you can go depends on your plan: 3 days on Free, 6 months on the API plan, and full available history on Business and Enterprise.
Do you differentiate between card conditions?
Absolutely. Our platform tracks prices based on condition categories (Mint, Near Mint, Played, etc.) and graded vs. ungraded status, giving you accurate valuations.
Graded Cards & Grading ROI
What graded card data do you provide?
Sold prices for each grade, drawn from completed graded sales, across PSA, CGC, BGS, SGC and other graders. Half grades are included. You also get price history per grade, so PSA 10 can be tracked separately from PSA 9.
Can you tell me what grade my card will get?
No. We do not offer grade prediction, image analysis, or card authentication. What we provide is market data: what cards of each grade have actually sold for, so you can judge whether grading is worth it.
How does the grading ROI calculator work?
It compares the raw price of a card against sold prices at each grade, minus grading costs, so you can see the break-even point. The estimate is only as good as the sales data behind it — thinly traded cards give less reliable results.
Do you have population data?
Yes, on Business plans and above. Population counts and gem rates are available per grader, so you can weigh scarcity alongside price.
API & Developers
What can I do with your API?
Our API provides programmatic access to our pricing database, allowing developers to integrate Pokémon card market data into their own applications, websites, or tools.
Are there rate limits for API usage?
Yes, API access is tiered based on your subscription level. Free accounts have 100 credits per day, API plan subscribers get 20,000 credits per day, and Business plan subscribers receive 200,000 credits per day. Both API and Business plans include full price history data.
Do you offer SDKs or client libraries?
We don't currently offer official SDK libraries. Our API is a standard REST API that works with any HTTP client, and our documentation includes ready-to-use code examples in JavaScript, Python, and cURL.
Where can I find API documentation?
Comprehensive API documentation is available at pokemonpricetracker.com/docs, including endpoint descriptions, request/response examples, and authentication guides.
Account & Billing
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime by going to Account Settings > Subscription and clicking 'Cancel Subscription'. Your premium access will continue until the end of your billing period.
Is there a refund policy?
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for premium subscriptions. Please review our features and pricing carefully before purchasing.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can change your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference. When downgrading, your new rate will apply at the next billing cycle.
How secure is my payment information?
We never store your credit card information directly. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, which maintains the highest level of PCI compliance.
